Hamburger Steak and Gravy
What do you do if you have vacuum packed frozen hamburger steak? Awe don't even.... you know you've bought frozen hamburger patties before! My mom bought some boxes of beef and wild caught fish that she shared with me. They were all individually vacuum packed and frozen. So far, they've been quite good! Great flavor and not hard to thaw out at all. It's a company like Omaha Steaks but you know.... it's not them. I wish I remembered the name of the company.
The hamburger steaks were thawed overnight but were not totally thawed out so I decided to make hamburger steaks IN THE OVEN! Why have I not thought of this before? I needed something quick and eazyyyyy. And delicious. Beef, onions, bell peppers, and GRAVY! Over mashed potatoes... so I just totally looked for leftovers but what a nightmare - it's all gone.
The hamburger steak cut like butter. I just browned it all and left it in the oven to simmer.
Look at all those flecks of pepper all over my food. Flecks of deliciousness. Lately I've been digging some fresh pepper. I want it on e-ver-y-th-ing! Mmmmmm. And that is why I never give amounts for salt and pepper. I tend to go light on the sugar - dang I meant SALT - and heavy on the pepper. That's the way I love it.
